Short version

PocketCalc is a static website made of small in-browser calculators. The values you type into a calculator are processed entirely in your browser; they are not sent to any server, not stored, and not shared with anyone.

What we collect

• Calculator inputs: never collected. They live in your browser tab and are gone when you close it.
• Server logs: our static host (Cloudflare Pages) keeps standard request logs — IP address, user-agent, timestamp, URL — for operational and abuse-prevention purposes.
• Google Analytics: when configured, Google Analytics may collect page views, basic device/browser information, approximate location, referring pages, and interaction events. Calculator inputs are not sent to Google Analytics.
• Locale preference: if you visit from Brazil or Portugal, the site redirects you once to the Portuguese version and sets a locale cookie so your choice sticks. You can clear it at any time from your browser.

Analytics

Google Analytics is used to understand which pages are visited, where traffic comes from, and which calculators need improvement.

Google may set cookies such as _ga and _ga_* and process analytics data under Google's privacy policy.

Advertising

When advertising is active on this site, it is served by Google AdSense. When enabled, AdSense scripts load directly with the page.

Google may set cookies and process information (including IP address and ad interactions) per its advertising policies. You can opt out at any time at Google's ad settings or by clearing this site's storage.

Cookies

• locale — remembers the language you chose.
• Google Analytics may set _ga and _ga_* cookies.
• Once advertising is active, AdSense may set additional cookies under .doubleclick.net and related domains.

Third parties

• Cloudflare Pages — hosting and CDN. Standard request logs apply.

Under the GDPR (EU/UK) and the LGPD (Brazil), you have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, and to object to or limit processing where applicable. Because we do not maintain user accounts and the only personal data that touches our infrastructure is in transient request logs and third-party analytics/advertising systems, in practice you can exercise these rights by:

Children

PocketCalc is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
